What is the price of the GloMax®-Multi Jr?
The price may vary based on your application and accessory requirements. To receive a quote customized to your needs, use our online quotation form (click here).

What types of cuvettes and test tube sizes does the GloMax®-Multi Jr accommodate?
The GloMax®-Multi Jr as a Fluorometer accommodates 10 x 10 mm plastic (methacrylate) square cuvettes. The minimum volume is 2 mL. The optional Minicell Adapter requires the borosilicate minicell cuvette. The minimum volume for the minicell vial is 100 µL and the maximum volume is 200 µL.

The GloMax®-Multi Jr as a Luminometer accommodates 1.5 mL microcentrifuge tubes such as the Costar microfuge tube from Corning Life Sciences. Because the GloMax®-Multi Jr is a bottom-reading luminometer, it does not require a minimum volume.

What is the Spreadsheet Interface Software (SIS) for the GloMax®-Multi Jr?
The SIS provides an easy way to report results from the GloMax®-Multi Jr to an Excel spreadsheet. The SIS requires Microsoft Windows XP with SP or later.

Is the Spreadsheet Interface Software (SIS) Mac-compatible?
Unfortunately, the SIS is not Mac-compatible.

Does the GloMax®-Multi Jr Single Tube offer kinetic measurements?
As a fluorometer, the Continuous Sampling feature permits repeat measurements at user-defined intervals. Connect the GloMax®-Multi Jr to a PC or a printer to collect Continuous Sampling measurements.

As a luminometer, it is possible to customize any protocol for kinetic measurements. Make sure to connect the GloMax®-Multi Jr to a PC or a printer to collect kinetic data. Kinetic luminescent measurements do not report to the touchscreen.

What applications are possible on the GloMax®-Multi Jr?
As a fluorometer, the unique design of the GloMax®-Multi Jr and the available fluorescence modules permit the measurements of any number of fluorescent compounds. Commonly used DNA, RNA, and Protein Quantitation Dyes along with fluorophores such as fluorescein, Hoechst dye, Cy3, Cy5 and many others are detectable using the GloMax®-Multi Jr and one of the five Fluorescence Optical Kits.

As a luminometer, the GloMax®-Multi Jr analyses bio- and chemiluminescent signals. Firefly luciferase and Renilla luciferase systems are compatible as well as HRP and AP systems that utilize chemiluminescent substrates. Superoxide assays and ATP assays are two additional applications for the GloMax®-Multi Jr Luminometer.

The Absorbance Module permits absorbance measurements in the visible wavelength spectrum. Filters for the BCA and Bradford protein quantitation assays are available. Cell density measures are also possible on the Absorbance Module.
